A great Bordeaux from the Pomerol area, made mostly of Merlot. Still young but drinkable now, but will cellar for another 5-10 years. Medium tannins with a soft texture. Labled Grand Cru of Saint-Emilion section of Bordeaux. In many magazines and wine review sites, 1996 is rated as the 2nd best season in the last 100 years. This is Bordeaux’s oldest recognized wine growing region. Hopefully to cellar until 2016
